About the Role

As a Qualified Medication Aide, you will develop meaningful relationships by learning about the life stories of our residents and staff. Each day, you will utilize your skills to promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents, leading to a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

Responsibilities & Skills

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents (Supportive Presence).
• Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed the needs of residents (Leadership).
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Work towards the common goal of excellent care for residents (Teamwork).
• Support a respectful and positive work environment (Interpersonal Communication).

Requirements

• Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.
• Indiana QMA license.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
