QM Clinical Data Coordinator
Job Details
The QM Clinical Data Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing performance improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Quality Management leadership.
- Provide education and guidance to facility-wide, multidisciplinary staff;
- Collections clinical data;
- Aids with quality activities in compliance with regulations and organizational goals;
- Create strategies for compliance with New York State Department of Health, Joint Commission, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services requirements;
- Data abstraction and presentation along with accountability for goal achievement.
Requirements
- RN with current NYS license required;
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related field required;
- Master's degree and CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred;
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience required;
- Performance Improvement and Quality Management experience preferred;
- Must have excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented;
- Problem-solving ability, creativity and effective communication skills a must;
- Data analytical skills required;
- Must have the ability to motivate, plan, organize and direct activities of others;
- BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only American Heart Association.

Pay
Salary Range USD $60.21 - USD $71.98 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
