About the Role
The QIDP assists the Area Director and oversees the managers of the programs. The Associate Director is responsible for maintaining a high level of quality for the program. Coordination between the school, various state workers, family, therapists, courts, and residential placements is vital to ensure individual success. The role ensures all Chrysalis positions provide appropriate support to help individuals gain greater independence by applying the five Chrysalis Values: Respect, Safety, Fun, Mentoring, and Accountability.
Requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s Degree in the Human Services field
- 1 year of experience in the field or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated supervisory skills
- Ability to prioritize work and complete program documentation accurately and on time
- Good public relations skills for working with outside professionals and state employees
- Ability to effectively manage personnel and program issues
- Commitment to continually improving program quality and profitability
- 2 years of experience in the human service field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience and/or equivalent education in working with individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of person-centered plans and ability to develop and write effective goals
- Experience supervising employees
- Strong judgment and ability to handle crisis situations
- Excellent general writing skills and ability to articulate ideas on a variety of issues
- Ability to understand and manage personnel issues and interact positively with staff
- Computer skills
- Strong public relations skills for working with medical, professional, and state employees
- Flexible schedule to accommodate individuals' needs
Pay
$62,000 - $74,000 per year
