QEI Elevator Inspector - Delaware

About the role

The QEI Elevator Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding elevator safety and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect elevators to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations.
• Document findings and report any violations to management.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to address issues and improve elevator performance.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and new regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in elevator inspection or related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills

• Knowledge of OSHA and ADA guidelines.
• Experience with elevator inspection software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
