We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support quarterly and year-end package preparation for clients in New York. This contract position is ideal for someone who works efficiently in a fast-paced production setting and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and year-end client statement packages by organizing documents according to assigned client accounts and delivery schedules.
• Compile materials such as tax notices, employee W-2 forms, 1099 forms, and other supporting reports with a strong focus on completeness and accuracy.
• Use office and shipping equipment, including mail metering systems, label printers, computers, and related tools, to process outgoing packages efficiently.
• Verify package contents before distribution to help maintain quality standards and reduce processing errors.
• Coordinate shipment readiness so completed packages are sent out within established production timelines.
• Maintain an orderly workspace and manage packaged materials in a way that supports high-volume output and reliable tracking.
• Identify document or packaging issues promptly and communicate them to the appropriate team members for resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in office support, shipping, mail processing, or a similar production-based environment is preferred.
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail and consistent quality.
• Comfortable using PCs, label printers, mail metering equipment, and other standard office machinery.
• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain productivity in a time-sensitive workflow.
• Basic understanding of handling confidential payroll or tax-related documents is helpful.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to sort and assemble materials accurately.
