QE Engineer with AI/MCP

About the role

This is a contract position for a QE Engineer in MCP Tools & REST API Automation, located in Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid onsite work arrangement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation
• Hands-on experience testing Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools, servers, or AI agent integrations
• Strong experience in automating REST APIs using tools/frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, or similar
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
• Experience with API validation, request/response verification and contract testing
• Good understanding of MCP architecture, tool invocation, prompts, resources, and client-server interactions
• Experience with test case design, defect tracking, regression testing, and end-to-end testing
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Experience using Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
