QC Technician

About the role

Qualifications

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer and mathematical skills
• Working knowledge of basic measuring devices and machines
• Must have the ability to effectively understand proper documentation and handling of paperwork involved with departmental operations
• Must be able to demonstrate sustained attention to detail when working with diagrams, prints, manuals, and processing specifications

Responsibilities

• Perform required checks during daily production
• Perform required inspections following sanitation
• Understand basic production flow and operation
• Ability to enter, read, and understand data related to quality checks and inspections
• Required to follow all safety procedures and programs
• Required to follow all GMP rules and regulations
• Other duties as required or assigned by Management

Physical requirements

• Requires the ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull varying weights up to 50 pounds, sometimes in awkward positions
• Requires extensive walking, climbing, and some crawling
