QC Technician

Seneca Foods in Janesville, WI is seeking a Full-Time QC Technician to join our night shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform required checks during daily production.
• Perform required inspections following sanitation.
• Understand basic production flow and operation.
• Enter, read, and understand data related to quality checks and inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and programs.
• Follow all GMP rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate sustained attention to detail when working with diagrams, prints, manuals, and processing specifications.
• Other duties as required or assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Working knowledge of basic measuring devices and machines.
• Ability to effectively understand proper documentation and handling of paperwork involved with departmental operations.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry, push, and pull varying weights up to 50 pounds, sometimes in awkward positions.
• Extensive walking, climbing, and some crawling.
