PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply quality assurance principles in a manufacturing environment to support compliance and prevention of defects
  • Verify that in-process controls, inspections, and work instructions are followed correctly
  • Perform verification checks using quality forms and checklist to confirm process capability and compliance
  • Perform quality inspection such as dimensional with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, scales, etc.), & visual inspection as well as other qualification and validation tests such as DSC, tensile, and etc.
  • Support identification, segregation, and documentation of nonconforming product in accordance with Quality procedures
  • Ensure correct application and removal of API monogram per authorization and nonconformance status
  • Complete accurate documentation and maintain required quality records
  • Support corrective actions by identifying trends, recurring issues, or process gaps
  • Wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Comply with all NOV Company, HSE, and Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Associate’s degree preferred (Quality, Business, Engineering, or related field)
  • Three years of verifiable work experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Job Requirements

  • Factory environment with wide temperature variation
  • Standing, walking, bending, and stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive movement (shoveling, sweeping, fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Push/pull activities up to 12 hours daily
  • Travel less than 10%

  • Ability to learn and follow technical repair, assembly, and verification procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, instructions, and work procedures
