QC Lab Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine testing of in-process antigens and final product samples to support the release of veterinary vaccines.
  • Ensure all laboratory methods are executed as written and remain compliant with regulatory agencies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct specific studies or projects as necessary to support laboratory objectives and process improvements.
  • Pro-actively identify issues, obstacles, and opportunities, proposing next steps for action to maintain operational flow.
  • Assist in other laboratory areas and take on new responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED with equivalent level of experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in biotechnology, aseptic technique, or a regulated laboratory environment.
  • Top 2 skills: Proficiency in aseptic technique and strong organizational skills using Microsoft Office and informatics systems.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background check and gain Select Agent clearance.

Skills

  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative in identifying process improvements and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different laboratory functions.
