QC Lab Technician

About the role

Actalent is hiring QC Lab Technicians for a chemical manufacturing lab in Rockwall, TX (contract‑to‑hire position based out of Dallas, TX). The QC Lab Technician will conduct physical and analytical tests on incoming raw materials and finished products such as sealants and lubricants.

Responsibilities

• Perform density testing (air‑evacuated)
• Measure alkalinity
• Conduct titrations
• Determine pH
• Assess viscosity

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering (new graduates welcome)
• Minimum 1 year of QA/QC experience or 1 year of work experience in a fast‑paced role

Skills

• Laboratory testing experience with raw materials, including familiarity with pH, viscosity, titrations, HPLC, and sample weighing
• Proficient with computer applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong mathematical abilities

Pay

$24.00 per hour (individual compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors).

Schedule

Shift: 6 am – 6 pm
