About the role

This position performs work related to online inspection, sanitation inspection, receiving inspection, and other activities related to quality assurance and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Online Inspection
    • Conduct online inspections and verify control parameters according to procedures and instructions for production, filling, and packaging processes.
    • Record results of inspection, including weigh-up, filling temperature, packaging material, product code, and container closure.
    • Perform GMP/hygiene inspection based on GMP and hygiene standards.
    • Correct GMP/hygiene violations and report to the production supervisor and/or QA Manager.
    • Complete all tasks timely according to QA/QC work instructions.
  • Sanitation Inspection
    • Conduct daily and monthly sanitation inspections, including pre-operation and post-operation inspections.
    • Perform ATP tests and environmental swabbing.
    • Monitor environmental air quality and inspect employees’ hygiene conditions.
    • Record inspection results and communicate with the Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Receiving Inspection
    • Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials according to QA/QC work instructions.
    • Take samples when needed according to the receiving manual.
    • Organize and update the Raw Material Manual, receiving records, and Certificates of Analysis (COA) from suppliers.
  • Other tasks
    • Observe and record nonconforming products/production and promptly communicate with the production supervisor and Quality Assurance Manager for immediate action.
    • Make routine decisions for product holding, production line holding, etc., verify corrections and corrective actions, and document incidents accordingly.
    • Calibrate equipment used for inspections and report immediately if a device malfunctions.
    • Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with tasks related to quality compliance.
    • Perform other special assignments from management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or general education (GED).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality inspection role (food industry preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams to achieve established goals.
  • Detailed-oriented, quality-oriented, with a high sense of responsibility.
