QC Inspector/Manager - Sheet Metal Experience Required

Millennium Metalcraft, Inc. is one of the leading companies in the sheet metal and machining manufacturing industry for the Bay Area. We are hiring a talented Quality Control Inspector professional to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read CAD Files as well as customer schematics.
• Inspect parts for dimensional tolerances, craftsmanship and cosmetic defects.
• Analyze parts against customer provided drawings and CAD files.
• Create and manage RMAs, SCARs, Templates, and Non-Conformances.
• Interface with customers for all quality related issues.
• Prepare quarterly reports on quality KPIs.
• Annual Calibration Audits.
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly Logs (Machine Maintenance, Audits etc.).
• Work efficiently and in harmony with a team of talented craftsmen & craftswomen.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a quality control inspector with direct sheet metal experience.
• Experience with Unipoint, JobBoss, Keyence, Amada etc.
• Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards.
• Strong knowledge about industry products and processes.
• Basic mathematical arithmetic.
• Excellent oral and communication skills.
• Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
• Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to commute/relocate to Fremont, CA 94539: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
• Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred).

Pay

$28-$34 per hour

Schedule

• 8-hour shift.
• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
