QC Inspector

Main Purpose

The QC Inspector position at Medisca assists in maintaining the quality of products according to Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP guidelines, as well as inspects, quarantines, and releases incoming material and finished goods.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Quality Control Inspection and sampling of incoming bulk.
• Inspection and release of finished product.
• Inspection of the lab, label, and bulk for the production process.
• Processing of returned goods.
• In-house laboratory testing.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a Science related field.
• Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in Quality Control.
• Knowledge of cGMPs, FDA, DEA and State Board regulations is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills required; fluent English (oral & written).
• Proven decision making and problem solving skills; applies judgment.
• Detail oriented is a must with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Qualifications (continued)

• Required to wear a full-face mask for up to several hours.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); Syspro/MasterControl an asset.
• Ability to lift to 60 lbs.
