About the Role
Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies for conformance to company standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct QC inspections and audits on contract requirements and other services performed.
- Prepare reports, develop quality plans, and attend meetings as directed.
- Check randomly selected samples and verify accuracy of equipment or process.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Schedule inspection activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to accomplish quality and organizational goals.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- Up to 2 years of experience in quality control or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to understand technical and process-based aspects of the services provided.
- OSHA certifications (required).
- ISO Lead Auditor Certification with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards (preferred).
Skills
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, Joint Commissioning, and safety procedures, including conducting accident investigations and safety inspections.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with standard testing tools.
- Knowledge of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practice regulations and codes.
- Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite.
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Travel
Up to 10% travel may be required.
