QC Inspector

About the Role

Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies for conformance to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct QC inspections and audits on contract requirements and other services performed.
• Prepare reports, develop quality plans, and attend meetings as directed.
• Check randomly selected samples and verify accuracy of equipment or process.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Schedule inspection activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to accomplish quality and organizational goals.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Up to 2 years of experience in quality control or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to understand technical and process-based aspects of the services provided.
• OSHA certifications (required).
• ISO Lead Auditor Certification with a thorough understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards (preferred).

Skills

• Knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA, Joint Commissioning, and safety procedures, including conducting accident investigations and safety inspections.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with standard testing tools.
• Knowledge of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practice regulations and codes.
• Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in MS Office Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Travel

Up to 10% travel may be required.
