QC Inspector

About the role

The QC Inspector B position monitors operations in areas designated by the lead inspector to ensure standards of production are met. Recommends adjustments to the assembly or production process. Accepts or rejects finished items, removing items that fail to meet inspections, and understands and completes tasks assigned by the lead inspector.

Responsibilities

• Reads specifications of projects
• Makes sure operations meet production standards
• Inspects and measures materials
• Accepts or rejects projects based on inspections
• Reports inspection data to the lead inspector

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
• Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
• Read and understand specifications
• Determine if projects meet production standards
• Report and communicate inspection data
• Respectively follow orders from leads
• Math skills for calibrating and calculating specifications

Physical requirements

• Prolonged standing
• Bending at the waist and knees
• Lifting up to 40lbs from the floor
• Climbing in and out of boats
• Ladder usage
• Able to maintain production speeds
