Responsibilities
- Achieve incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft/components in accordance with customer request cards or manufacturer’s manuals.
- Ensure documentation of maintenance performed is as required by FAR’s, ATS ’ Repair Station Manual and customer’s Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP).
- Complete final buy-back of maintenance performed.
- Perform in-progress inspections including clearance-to-close, torque verifications, dimensional checks, rigs, etc.
- Under authority of ATS and airlines, perform return-to-service and airworthiness releases on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA form 337.
- Conduct audit of ATS facilities for FAR and safety regulation compliance.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant License Required
- Three years heavy aircraft maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by Manager’s discretion
- NDI and previous QC experience highly desirable
- Prior supervisory experience highly desirable
Qualifications
- Sit; use their hands and arms; talk or hear; focus on objects close up.
- Stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally, with help, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Skills
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)
- Experience with aircraft maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Pay
The full base pay range for this position is $33.00 - $50.00 hourly, not including bonuses or benefits. Your pay will be based on your experience, skills, and education, as well as internal equity to ensure fairness across the team. Candidates closer to the lower end of the range are typically building their expertise, while those at the higher end bring significant experience and specialized knowledge. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.
