QC In-Line Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final visual inspection of raw, metalized and patterned ceramic substrates using stereo zoom and high-power microscopes, micrometers, calipers, various gauges and other inspection tools
• Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
• Accept or reject finished products based on inspection results
• Follow quality standards and meet daily, weekly production goals
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for the products
• Interpret inspection data according to inspection standards
• Report inspection and test data
• Provide some basic training and support to new QA team members
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance inspection
• Ability to read and understand procedures and work instructions
• Good computer skills and data entry experience
• MIC hybrid circuit inspection experience or MIC assembly experience
• Technical knowledge of basic inspection tools and equipment
• Proficient in English
• Good manual dexterity
• Able to prioritize job flows, schedule and manage time efficiently
• Good problem solving and multi-tasking abilities
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and other safety procedures
• Prior experience working for ISO 9000 certified company

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Specific vision abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• Physical strength and stamina for regular cleaning duties
• Exposure to hot/cold conditions, high-volume noise, exposure to stored energy hazards, and hazardous materials
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with constant change
