QC Field Technician – Waynesville, NC

Southern Concrete Materials, Inc. is looking for a Quality Control Field Technician for our Waynesville, NC location. Responsibilities include managing product quality by performing ACI and ASTM concrete and raw material testing, visiting job sites, attending pre-pour meetings, promoting value-added products, collecting market and job information, recording and analyzing test data, and preparing reports, charts, and graphs to support quality standards. Candidate will also assist with training operating personnel, conducting audits, and recommending improvements to quality procedures. ACI Level I certification or the ability to obtain certification is required. Full-time position with travel and occasional early morning, evening, and weekend work as needed. Must be able to work in fast-paced environments, communicate effectively with customers and team members, and maintain strong organizational and project management skills. Position requires outdoor work, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Must be able to follow all safety and environmental regulations and maintain a professional company image.
