QC Fab Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on fabricated equipment throughout the manufacturing process
• Verify dimensions, fit-up, and workmanship using measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and quality specifications
• Identify and document non-conforming materials or workmanship
• Work closely with fabrication, welding, and production teams to resolve quality issues
• Complete inspection reports and maintain quality documentation
• Ensure fabricated products meet company and customer quality standards
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following company safety procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial shop environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings preferred
• Experience using tape measures, calipers, and other basic inspection tools preferred
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
