QC/CX Specialist

About the Role

Effectively perform general administrative tasks related to project quality control, including creating and maintaining detailed lists and schedules of tests and inspections, submitting monthly Quality Control reports, and maintaining records of all tests and inspections. Coordinate project-specific quality requirements with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers, and act as the project quality liaison with external parties. Assist with field inspections, identify deficient work, monitor progress of QC/CX activities, and ensure compliance with contract documents, Lighthouse Electric standards, regulations, codes, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create or maintain a detailed list and schedule of tests and inspections required for the project.
• Create and submit monthly Quality Control reports to project leadership.
• Maintain records of all tests and inspections performed.
• Communicate project-specific quality requirements to all affected departments, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers.
• Act as the project quality liaison with external parties on matters relating to quality.
• Conduct Pre-installation Meetings with Project Management, Field Leadership, and Owner Representatives.
• Ensure the availability of necessary resources and information for effective operation of the Lighthouse Electric Quality Systems.
• Conduct field walks and field inspections on a regular basis.
• Identify deficient work and propose remedial and corrective actions.
• Monitor progress of QC/CX activities and report updates to peers and leaders.
• Review and approve project quality-related contract submittals and specifications.
• Resolve quality nonconformances and report to senior management on Quality System performance, including recommendations for improvements.
• Confirm permanently installed materials comply with Contract Documents.
• Ensure the Quality System is established and implemented by relevant personnel.
• Ensure Project Quality meets or exceeds Lighthouse Electric Standards, regulations, codes, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Perform applicable Quality Control task training and provide resources to team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to read and evaluate specifications and blueprints.
• High-level understanding of electrical construction.
• Ability to deal effectively with internal team members.
• Ability to understand other trades’ activities in a project schedule.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Apprenticeship program (NJATC or relevant Electrical program) preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical construction experience.
• Attain NFPA 70E Professional certification.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
