Job Summary
Provides company-wide support to production and non-production areas for quality issues and questions. Participates in external, internal, and supplier audits. Maintains documentation on audit findings and coordinates corrective action responses and follow-up.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports/facilitates continuous improvement activities across the organization, including supplier assessment, contractual and regulatory compliance, and product manufacture
- Corrective action assessments, and implementation and verification of corrective action activities, including from internal/external audits, supplier requested corrective actions, and self-identified corrective actions
- Takes the lead in preparation for Teledyne's annual AS9100/ISO 9001 recertification audit and other less frequent audits (Nadcap, NQA-1, ASME, CMMI, etc.)
- Performs compliance audits to verify adherence to company policies, standards, and procedures
- Prepares written reports of findings obtained from analysis, including the results of internal audits
- Prepares business reports, feasibility studies, and justification statements when required
- Participates in the Quality Planning process to identify and ensure satisfaction of customer order requirements
- Participates in the customer satisfaction assessment process
- May assist in the generation of SOP's, GMP's, and Quality System procedures or changes thereto when required
- Uses SPC principles in support of root cause analysis when assessing production anomalies, including variability studies
- Supports maintenance of the company's training and records retention programs
- Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to meet goals and deadlines

Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be knowledgeable in using software conducive to presenting analytical results, such as charts, graphs, and presentations using Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc.

- US Citizenship. with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.
- Ability to travel domestically approximately __+/-10_% is a plus.
