About the role

Eurofins PSS is hiring for a QC Analytical Chemist to support GMP testing of pharmaceutical in‑process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples. The successful candidate will also support investigations of invalid results and method transfer activities. This individual must have high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and review in accordance with approved methods, specifications, protocols, and compendial requirements.
• Follow GMP regulations, including 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211, and applicable ICH guidelines.
• Test pharmaceutical samples including in‑process, raw materials, intermediates, API, stability, and more.
• Participate in method transfer, qualification, and verification studies.
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT, and invalid results.
• Utilize various analytical techniques such as NMR, GC, LC, ICP‑OES, IR, RI, UV‑Vis, Conductivity, Specific Rotation, Titration, TGA, and others.
• Reference standard qualification and management.
• Perform elemental impurities and residual solvent testing and review.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field with 3+ years of GMP/GLP testing experience; OR MS in the same fields with 1+ year of industry GMP/GLP testing experience.
• At least one year of industry experience with Liquid Chromatography (LC), Conductivity, and Titration.
• Proven experience with at least two of the following techniques/instruments: NMR, GC, ICP‑OES, IR, RI, UV‑Vis, TGA.
• Knowledge and in‑depth understanding of GMPs, ICH, and 21 CFR guidelines.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of GMP experience.

Schedule

This permanent, full‑time position works a rotating 6 pm – 6 am schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday – 36 hours; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 48 hours. Overtime may be required.

Compensation

$35.00‑$41.00 per hour (plus a 10 % second‑shift differential) based on education and related industry experience.
