About the role
Support microbiological testing and monitoring activities to help ensure the safety and quality of drug products. Work under the guidance of experienced team members in a hands-on laboratory setting based onsite.
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing for in-process, release, and stability samples with guidance
- Support environmental and utility monitoring, including HVAC and facility sampling
- Record and document test results following GMP and data integrity standards
- Use laboratory systems and basic software to enter and manage data
- Assist in identifying deviations and escalating issues to senior team members
- Follow cGMP, GDP, and data integrity requirements in all assigned tasks
- Participate in routine lab activities, including sample handling and cleaning
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related science field
- Limited experience in a laboratory or regulated environment preferred
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and aseptic practices preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in cleanroom environments, including performing physical tasks such as climbing ladders when needed
Qualifications
The schedule is 2nd shift from 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Wednesday through Saturday. The second shift and weekends receive an increased pay differential.
