QAQC Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Counsults inspections and tests of electrical systems, installations, and components to verify compliance with project specifications, NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and other applicable codes and standards.
• Reviews electrical drawings, submittals, and specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
• Develops, implements, and maintains quality control procedures, checklists, and inspection reports for electrical work.
• Documents deficiencies, nonconformance issues, and corrective actions; follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Covers with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to address quality issues and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
• Maintains and organizes all QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and testing records for project closeout and client turnover.
• Participates in internal and external quality audits and assist in root-cause analysis of recurring issues.
• Provides training and guidance to field teams on quality requirements and standards.
• Maintains and enforces safety and compliance during inspections, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
• Utilizes software platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, and BIM360 to track and manage quality data.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Five (5) years of experience in a related field, including two (2) years in supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
• Completion of a state-recognized electrical apprenticeship.
• Experience using advanced project management and quality control software such as BIM360, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Background in electrical field leadership or quality control auditing.
