Essential Job Responsibilities
- Participation in design reviews, providing constructability feedback to contracted engineering firms, and providing input to design package schedules to support an integrated construction schedule
- Ensure that the installing contractor has met customer and industry standard installation requirements
- Overall responsible for the safe and successful completion of the electrical work to ensure projects are completed with the highest degree of accuracy and success
- Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, and organize activities concerned with construction projects
- Complete all QA documentation and any other reports that are required for the project
- Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, and closures of issues
- Inspect and support testing of equipment
- Work with and communicate effectively with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities
- Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
- Perform final QA inspection on equipment
- Answering questions of a technical nature during project execution
Required
- Minimum 3-5 years of Electrical QA Experience
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Foreman/Superintendent experience preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for all aspects of electrical equipment
- Knowledge of low voltage/ medium voltage systems preferred
- Experience in data center preferred
- Experience with Bluebeam and Revit systems
- Experience with NFPA 70 codes and standards
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Outdoor construction setting with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, and other environmental factors
- Frequent visits to outdoor construction sites with exposure to weather extremes
- If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search
- Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel
