QAPI Home Health Clinical Specialist - Registered Nurse (RN)

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Annual QAPI Plan
• Monitor and analyze KPIs including OASIS data, infection control logs, patient outcomes, and complaints
• Conduct clinical chart audits to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and survey-ready
• Ensure compliance with CMS Conditions of Participation, State of CT licensure requirements, and CHAP standards
• Support ADRs, denials, and appeals processes
• Lead quarterly QAPI meetings and performance improvement initiatives
• Provide staff education on documentation standards, regulatory updates, and quality initiatives
• Support infection control and compliance monitoring workflows

Qualifications

• BSN required (MSN preferred)
• Active Connecticut RN license required
• 2-3 years of Home Health experience required
• Experience in quality assurance, compliance, or regulatory oversight preferred
• OASIS certification required
• Knowledge of ICD-10, PDGM, and Value-Based Purchasing
• Strong analytical, auditing, and communication skills
• Must be able to commute to Ridgefield, CT 06877 office 3 days per week

Pay

The pay range for this position is $92,000 to $96,000 annually and represents RVNAhealth's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.

Schedule: Full Time (M-F 8:30am - 4:30pm)
