QA/Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Software testing and quality assurance for enterprise business applications
• Analysis of test requirements and development of test procedures
• Interface testing
• Maintenance of system requirement baselines and documentation
• Support of engineering meetings
• Unit testing and software/system integration testing
• Creation and maintenance of software and system documentation
• Actively participate in a self-driven Agile Scrum team and all related ceremonies
• Develop, identify, and peer review requirements, test cases, and procedural documentation
• Execute test cases for automated, manual, regression, security, performance, and other applicable testing
• Identify functional problems based on established requirements and create clear bug reports for defects for validation once resolved
• Review results to compile metrics and actions based on analysis of patterns
• Hybrid role requiring support from our Middletown, RI office

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related technology field
• Two to five years of QA/Test experience (preferred DoD experience)
• BS with 2-4 years of experience, or MS with 0-2 years of experience
• Self-directed with ability to prioritize work independently and with a team to complete required tasking
• Responsive and responsible communication through technology with remote teammates
• Strong problem solving, application testing, and debugging capabilities
• Clear and concise written and verbal skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance

Pay

Projected compensation range: $64,842.27 – $112,748.12. Differentiating factors such as relevant work experience, skills, education, certifications, geographic location, and federal contract labor categories may impact final salary.
