About the role

Responsibilities
- Follow documented inspection procedures for both electrical and mechanical evaluations.
- Perform SMT/PCBA incoming inspection to verify conformance to specifications.
- Execute in-house PCBA changes, rework, and soldering modifications as required.
- Conduct incoming mechanical inspections using precision measurement tools.
- Document incoming inspection failures and initiate return to vendor paperwork.
- Accurately document findings and enter inspection data into the ERP system.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives, including problem-solving and corrective actions.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in electronics, SMT, quality inspection, or a related field.
- Proficiency with mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers).
- Experience with microscope inspection and SMT soldering required.
- IIPC J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 certification preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret PCBA drawings, diagrams, schematics, and related documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity; skilled in hand-tools and soldering techniques.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable working with microscopes and other precision inspection equipment.
