QA Tech I - SPLIT SHIFT

Duties/Responsibilities

• Performing HACCP, SSOP and Quality Checks to insure that product meets plant, USDA and customer expectations
• Must have a basic understanding of microbiology, HACCP and SSOPs & GMPs
• Knowledge of pre-operational sanitation checks
• Perform various quality control functions including but not limited to inspection and audits
• Inspect various product to assure compliance with Company specifications
• Completing accurate and detailed paperwork on products
• Communicating clearly with Superintendent, Lead and or Managers
• Other tasks/duties as assigned by Lead, Manager and or Other Management

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the production floor, industry and products
• Previous experience in industry and or similar work environment preferred
• Dependable and enthusiastic
• Must be a team player, have positive attitude, good people skills, ability to work well with others
• Willing to be flexible, have time management skills and complete tasks in a timely manner
• Computer/tablet skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good math skills
• Ability to follow instructions
• Physically capable of performing line work
• Excellent attendance and work record
• Self-starter
• Multitasker
• Bilingual preferred but not required
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
