Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs line checks to insure conformance to customer and specification requirements.
- Performs inspection of raw materials/packaging components used on the production line.
- Completes documents/records following cGMP documentation practices.
- Performs colorimeter checks.
- Performs statistical sampling following ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 sampling requirements.
- Locates raw material, packaging components or finished product by IC number or production date using current inventory control software.
- Performs incoming sampling and inspects packaging components (as needed).
- Adheres to company safety policies.
- Comply with the Chemical Hygiene Plan and Environmental policies when handling and disposing of chemicals.
- Performs additional duties as requested by those authorized to request such activities including required overtime to meet departmental requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school education/GED; one to two years of experience in quality assurance role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment; general knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) a plus.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of Windows office software (Word, Excel).
- Ability to obtain required information from Oracle/Visual software programs.
- Ability to interact with those contacted in the course of work, including employees at all levels.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
- Flexibility to adapt to various work situations, organizes work for appropriate and timely completion, and function independently without supervision.
