Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the overall implementation of quality control plans, ensuring the quality of the work meets the project’s contractual requirements. Manages and coordinates all quality activities at the project site.

Position Details

  • Develops, maintains and communicates QA/QC standards for the project.
  • Reviews project specifications for code compliance and constructability within industry standards.
  • Counsels and provides performance feedback to direct reports as needed.
  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and correspondence, relative to QA/QC work.
  • Organizes and runs QC/QA preparatory and planning meetings prior to work taking place in field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent education, training and/or experience
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3 years of lead experience
  • Strong understanding of lean construction/manufacturing principles
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Bluebeam)

Pay

Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (Colorado/New York City/California/Washington/Maryland/Virginia/DC) this ranges from $132,000.00 - $161,000.00 plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.

Contingent Employment

All employment offers are contingent upon successful drug tests, background checks, and professional reference checks. Roles that include driving as an essential job duty will be required to have a successful Motor Vehicle Record check (MVR).
