QA/QC Manager

About the role

The QA/QC Managers at RC Andersen, part of the STO Building Group, support mission-critical teams in Atlanta, GA. Their responsibilities include understanding client needs, maintaining quality assurance processes, conducting tests, and reporting results. They also ensure compliance with project documents, regulatory agencies, and company health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive inspections to align with project plans, technical specifications, and relevant project documentation.
• Foster a clean and safe work environment, enforcing safety protocols.
• Effectively address quality issues through corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver project reports as per project specifications.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and perform quality calibrations.
• Interpret project specifications and plans, collaborating with project management.
• Engage in inspections with government agencies, promoting a cooperative and compliant approach.
• Develop project submittals that meet specifications and plans.
• Perform additional tasks as directed.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of quality assurance and control experience.
• Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards.
• In-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and quality control standards.
• Ability to interpret instructions, both written, spoken, or in diagrams.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Highly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers.
• Able to work with all levels of management.
