Qa/qc Inspector

We are hiring a QC Inspector to support shop-based fabrication and quality control work with potential field and install support as projects grow. This person will inspect welds, materials, and fabrication work, help maintain quality documentation, and ensure work aligns with SOPs, client requirements, and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections in a fabrication/shop environment.
• Inspect welds, fabricated assemblies, materials, and related work for compliance with project and client quality requirements.
• Support material receiving inspections and verify materials meet client and project standards.
• Review work against company QA programs, SOPs, and applicable code requirements.
• Document inspection results, non-conformances, and quality concerns clearly.
• Communicate with internal teams, welders, supervisors, and client representatives.
• Help identify quality issues early and support corrective action conversations.
• Support occasional field visits or install-related inspections as project work grows.
• Maintain a high level of organization while working against tight project schedules.

Qualifications

• CWI certification.
• Level II inspection experience.
• ASME / process piping inspection experience.
• ASME B31.3 experience, if applicable to project scope.
• Semiconductor or biopharma project experience.
• Cleanroom, tool install, high-purity piping, prefab, or gas plant experience.
• OSHA 30.
• Confined space experience.

This is an entry-level, contract-to-hire position based in Salt Lake City, UT.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $50.00/hr.
