QA Leader

Main Activities

• Define and own the overall test strategy across squads.
• Ensure acceptance criteria are testable and tracked in Jira before code is committed.
• Create and maintain upgrade and release checklists to prevent regression incidents.
• Design and maintain CI/CD quality gates to block defective code before it reaches production.
• Define coverage standards for unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression tests for both web and mobile applications.
• Define and own the testing strategy for native iOS and Android applications.
• Lead cross-squad quality initiatives and advocate for testability at the design stage.
• Participate in release validation, defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Candidate's Experience and Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality engineering, including 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with native mobile testing on iOS and Android using tools like Appium, XCTest, Espresso.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments, understanding the importance of quality in the delivery cycle.
• Proven experience with frontend automation for Angular/TypeScript (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with web and API testing methodologies (Postman, REST-assured).
• Expertise with test management tooling (Jira Xray, Zephyr).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration and quality gate design.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
