QA Engineer

About the role

This role is ideal for a Software QA Engineer with expertise in Python and modern backend frameworks. The candidate will work on mission-critical systems that leverage AI, EHRs, and other sensitive medical data.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute scalable automated tests across functional, integration, API, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and execute automated and manual test plans
• Collaborate with developers, product management, and client implementation teams
• Partner with the team to find and fix defects
• Provide testing insights and quality metrics
• Continuously improve testing approaches
• Stay updated on testing frameworks, tools, and technologies

Specialized Skills

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies
• Experience with automated testing, test automation tools, and test-driven development
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems
• Professional experience with Python preferred
• Familiarity with API design tools/languages
• Experience with cloud computing and orchestration tools
• Experience with containerization tools

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of Software Engineering experience
• 2 years of experience in Software QA Engineering
• 2 years of experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
• 2 years of experience automating web applications, APIs, backend services, including end-to-end workflows
• 2 years of experience integrating testing automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience creating comprehensive test cases
• Excellent writing skills in delivering clear, detailed test documentation and reporting
• Comfort working collaboratively across functions
