Responsibilities
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Read and interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, blueprints, and quality manuals.
- Program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a plus.
- Knowledge of MS Office Software applications.
- Proficiency within a recognized ERP system, Global Shop preferred.
- Comfortable working within external party internet portals.
- Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
- Develop, execute, and analyze quality reporting measures.
- Review customer drawings and requirements and provide quality plans.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Prepare Source Inspection for Aerospace customers.
- Review and prepare NCR/SRD (Non-Conformance Report/Service Request Document) with customers.
- Develop Inspection Plan for New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Work with suppliers on quality issues.
- Update Quality work instructions.
- Train inspector teams for specific customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 4+ years' of industry experience.
- Semiconductor and/or Aerospace experience is a plus.
- AS9100 experience required.
- SAE AS9102 First Article Inspection protocols.
- CAPA methodology experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry.
- An analytical and quantitative approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and push/pull up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Work environment is noisy, dusty, and has machines running.
Skills
- Ability to program CMM.

Benefits
- The salary range for this full-time position is $81,600-$138,700 annually or $3238 to $5334 biweekly, exempt.
- Pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
- The business site where this position is located is an ITAR-compliant operation.
- Due to ITAR regulations, Ichor Systems is only able to employ US Persons.
