Responsibilities
- Evaluate and test new or modified software programs to ensure they meet user requirements and conform to guidelines
- Write, revise, and verify quality standards and test procedures for program design and product evaluation
- Review programs, documentation, diagrams, and flowcharts to confirm expected performance and compliance
- Identify program processing errors through computer operating logs
- Test programs for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and adherence to standards
- Suggest modifications to align user applications with establishment standards
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software and/or program testing
- 3+ years of experience writing and executing SQL queries
- 2+ years of experience with a test management system like qTest/ALM
- 2+ years of experience with JIRA or a similar agile software development tool
- Strong analytical and technical skills with excellent communication
