QA Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute regression, functional and end-to-end test cases as assigned.
• Perform regression testing after defects are fixed.
• Reproduce issues reported from the field and third-party partners.
• Create high-quality test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Submit and track issues found during testing and ensure prompt resolution.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of the product to thoroughly test its functionalities.
• Review project requirements and establish necessary test environments for each project.
• Execute various testing methodologies including system testing, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, API testing, etc.
• Reproduce issues when necessary to assist software development in resolving them.
• Leverage experience to deliver reliable and repeatable tests.
• Work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with other departments, customers, and third-party vendors.

• Able to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Practitest, Trello, Postman, Cypress, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of relevant software testing work experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with API testing is a plus.
• Gaming and pari-mutuel experience a plus.
• Experience with Agile methodologies desired.
• Experience with MongoDB preferred.
• Windows server experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of test methodologies.
• Experience in deriving test plans/cases from system requirements.
