QA Engineer Type: ContractorLocation: RemoteCompensation: $60–$112/hourExperience: 3+ years Role Responsibilities:Design and execute functional, regression, edge-case, manual, and automated test cases, documenting results with clear and reproducible steps.Identify, report, and track bugs and defects using structured reporting, QA, and test management tools.Evaluate technical outputs against quality criteria, standards, and rubrics, providing detailed feedback and annotations.Analyze test results, identify quality risks, and collaborate on evaluation guidelines, QA standards, and next-generation AI system evaluation. Requirements:3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer, or similar role.Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, Software Testing, Test Case Design, Regression Testing, Bug Tracking, and QA best practices.Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, automated testing frameworks, bug tracking, and test management tools.Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach. Preferred:Experience developing functional, regression, and edge-case test suites, testing standards, evaluation guidelines, or QA processes.Experience evaluating technical outputs using rubrics, defined quality criteria, or structured evaluation standards.Background in human data workflows, annotation, or technical evaluation.AI/LLM experience is not mandatory.
