Responsibilities
- Ensure new systems meet functional requirements and service qualities (performance, scalability, extensibility, maintainability, security, interoperability) for current and future needs.
- Perform both automated and manual testing on large-scale distributed systems, client-server, and e-commerce applications.
- Review and enhance existing systems using new technologies and methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Break down systems into components, analyze component interactions, interfaces, and select appropriate technologies and resources.
- Automate the testing process according to specifications, maintaining technical documentation for all test automation components.
- Execute end-to-end system testing strategies, including migration and integration of new and legacy technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including users, sponsors, development teams, Product Owners, and Operations, to gather and clarify requirements and ensure effective testing strategies.
- Review system requirements, test scripts, and test scenarios to develop comprehensive testing workflows and ensure coverage of high-level requirements.
- Create automated test case scenarios for Agile Delivery Teams aligned with acceptance criteria.
- Apply QA best practices in Agile environments, including authoring and executing test plans/cases, and tracking issues to resolution.
- Utilize and integrate various testing tools and frameworks, including Azure DevOps, UFT, VBScript, and others.
- Develop and maintain UI, back-end, API, and hardware test automation for enterprise applications.
Requirements
- Show strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and abstract thinking skills.
- Support continuous integration and DevOps practices within the testing process.
- Apply object-oriented design principles and design patterns in test development.
Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft SharePoint, .Net Framework, SQL, Mulesoft, and virtualized hosting environments is preferred.
