QA Automation Lead

About the role

The QA Automation Lead is responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of automated testing tools and processes to ensure high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like DA-API, RestAssured, and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and design tests accordingly.
• Execute automated tests on a regular basis to identify defects and ensure that the software meets quality standards.
• Document test cases and results, and provide feedback to improve the testing process.
• Stay updated with the latest automation technologies and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in QA Automation roles.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using DA-API, RestAssured, and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Skills

• Knowledge of DA-API, RestAssured, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with Git version control system.
