About The Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions across web applications, APIs, and integrated systems. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, and Cypress, along with solid programming skills in Java and/or Python. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to build reliable test automation, improve software quality, and accelerate CI/CD delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites.
  • Create automated tests for web applications using Selenium, Playwright, and/or Cypress.
  • Develop and execute API tests to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable automation code using Java and/or Python.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end automated tests.
  • Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and risk assessment.
  • Improve test coverage, automation reliability, execution speed, and reporting.
  • Maintain test documentation and contribute to QA standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot test failures and distinguish application defects from automation/environment issues.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 2–8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with one or more of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Python.
  • Experience with API testing and tools/frameworks such as REST APIs, Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
  • Practical experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and analyze complex test failures.
  • Strong communication skills.

$95,000–$150,000 per year
