QA Automation Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in unit test automation using the Spock Framework and Apache Groovy on the JVM. The successful candidate will help build and maintain automated test suites, improve test coverage, and support reliable, high‑quality software releases. This role is well suited to a QA automation professional with hands‑on experience testing JVM‑based applications, working with Spock and Groovy, and collaborating effectively with development teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain automated unit tests for JVM‑based applications.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using the Spock Framework.
- Develop and maintain tests using Apache Groovy.
- Drive and improve automated test coverage.
- Support software quality and reliable releases through effective test automation.
- Collaborate with development teams within an Agile environment.
- Work independently while contributing effectively to team‑based QA and software development activities.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of QA Automation experience.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with the Spock Framework.
- Proficiency in Apache Groovy.
- Experience designing, writing, and maintaining automated unit tests.
- Solid understanding of JVM‑based application testing practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.
