QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems.
• Partner with development teams to expand test coverage, embed automation into CI/CD pipelines, and accelerate confident software delivery.
• Apply risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing in Agile environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Four or more years of QA automation experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Hands‑on experience automating REST APIs
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid SQL skills for data validation
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
• Knowledge of containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud‑based testing environments such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
• Exposure to behavior‑driven development frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
• Familiarity with security testing fundamentals (OWASP, basic penetration testing)

Pay

Salary range: $75,000–$98,000 annually.
