Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement performance and load testing strategies for web applications and backend services.
- Write, optimize, and maintain automation scripts to streamline and enhance testing processes across various test environments.
- Create and expand a comprehensive automated testing framework that includes test plans, test cases, and continuous testing pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and customer success, to ensure test strategies support overall project goals and deliverables.
- Implement and oversee continuous integration (CI) and continuous testing (CT) pipelines to ensure timely feedback on application performance and quality.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on application performance and resource utilization throughout testing cycles.
- Provide clear and detailed test reports, including actionable insights for stakeholders.
Job Competencies
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and scripting skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automated testing, with a strong focus on writing and maintaining automation scripts.
- 5+ years of experience in performance and load testing.
- Proficiency with load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Playwright and C# or similar, with proven experience writing test scripts from scratch.
Compensation & Benefits
- The selected candidate should have the skills, qualifications, and experience consistent with a Senior I level within Brandt’s job architecture.
- The starting compensation range is $95,000.00-$115,000.00, with the final level and corresponding salary determined based on the candidate’s expertise, qualifications, and prior experience within the applicable pay band.
