About the role
As an independent contractor, this role requires strong expertise in data privacy and security practices. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring all client data is handled in compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement privacy policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations
- Provide guidance on data protection measures and best practices
- Respond to data breach notifications and investigations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data handling needs and develop tailored solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data privacy and security
- Knowledge of relevant data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Experience working with data analytics tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
