QA Associate - Part Time

Pay: $19–$20/hour

About the role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant to support their growing QA team within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands-on exposure to GMP, quality systems, and pharmaceutical operations.

Responsibilities

• Review laboratory and raw material records in accordance with approved procedures.
• Support Quality Management System activities and maintain accurate QA documentation.
• Assist with data collection, campaign reporting, logbooks, and document control.
• Support change controls, deviations, and CAPA activities with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with regulatory and customer audit preparation and inspection readiness.
• Review analytical methods and blank forms as directed.
• Monitor QC and Production maintenance schedules and escalate delays when needed.
• Ensure materials are properly received, labeled, and documented.
• Prepare records and inventory documentation for off-site storage.
• Perform other QA-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s in Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical QA/QC or a related regulated environment.
• Familiarity with cGMP, ICH guidelines, and quality systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and written/verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work collaboratively, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
