QA Analyst, Testing

About The Role

The QA Testing Analyst at Huntington plays a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and accessibility of the CRB Digital Originations applications. This position involves executing comprehensive manual and automated testing practices to validate software functionality and compliance with business requirements. The analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and fellow QA professionals throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop detailed test cases
• Design, develop, and maintain functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites
• Implement automated tests using approved testing frameworks and tools
• Perform API, database, and user interface testing to ensure application functionality and data integrity
• Identify, document, and track software defects, providing clear and timely status updates
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA team members throughout the Agile development cycle
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Validate releases in test and production environments, including post-deployment verification activities
• Support adherence to quality, accessibility, security, and compliance standards while contributing to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software testing, including manual and automated testing
• At least 1 year of experience in mobile testing using mobile browsers and applications
• Proven experience in creating and executing test cases from business requirements and user stories
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and SQL query writing
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
