Qa Analyst Consultant W2

Team is looking to bring on a QA professional who will primarily focus on manual testing, unit tests, and test scripts, while also working with API testing, Postman, and AccelQ to support scrum teams. AccelQ is a low-code, "point-and-click" type automation tool. This role requires a strong cultural fit with a mindset of thinking like a tester—asking, "How could I break this?" and "What could go wrong?" rather than just running basic tests that developers expect to pass.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing, including writing and executing test scripts and unit tests
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and AccelQ
• Support scrum teams with quality assurance processes
• Create and execute SQL commands, statements, and joins to validate data integrity
• Identify edge cases and potential failure points in applications

Requirements

• Expert-level experience in quality assurance
• Strong SQL knowledge, including commands, statements, and creating joins
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman
• Familiarity with low-code automation tools such as AccelQ
• Ability to think critically about potential failure points in applications
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Hybrid onsite role requiring presence in the South Park area of Charlotte, NC, 3 days a week

Pay

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

• Hybrid position requiring onsite work 3 days a week in Charlotte, NC
